Religious Education

St. Joseph Church offers Religious Education classes to students who do not attend Catholic grade schools.  As Catholic

parents, you have the responsibility and privilege of evangelizing your children. We, your parish, have a special

role in helping you raise your children as strong, well-formed Catholic young people. We count on your child’s

faithful attendance every year from Grades 1 through 8.

Our Religious Education program is active in the life of our parish and community.  R.E. students coordinate food drives

for the neighborhood food pantry, collect needed items for local shelters, serve as Altar Servers for the Parish, participate

in Masses and special liturgical events.

Before a student can receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, or Confirmation, they must be

enrolled in Religious Education classes for two years prior or have attended a Catholic school the year before.

RE Classes for 2012-2013 will again be held on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:30pm, beginning in September 11, 2012

(first class and required parent/student meeting).   Registration Forms are available by clicking the links below.

If you would like to receive registration information in the mail, please call the rectory at 815-727-9378.
